About Kevin

Kevin McMahon was recently featured as an original cast member in the 1st National Touring company of Broadway’s BRIGHT STAR. Kevin’s previous touring credits include almost 7 years in the 1st National Touring company of the musical phenomenon, WICKED, and the Tony® award-winning production of CITY OF ANGELS. In NYC he appeared in the revival of LITTLE MOON OF ABAN. For his work as “Malcolm” in the Musical Theatre West production of THE FULL MONTY, he received an Ovation Award nomination for “Best Supporting Actor” in a musical. Other recent credits include EMMA at the Ensemble Theatre Company in Santa Barbara, ANNIE with the Ogunquit Playhouse at Portsmouth’s Music Hall, OLIVER! for Musical Theatre West, the innovative Sacramento Music Circus and McCoy-Rigby Entertainment/La Mirada production of THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, Musical Theatre West’s CAROUSEL, Adam/Noah in the acclaimed production of CHILDREN OF EDEN for Cabrillo Music Theatre, the Los Angeles premiere of SONDHEIM ON SONDHEIM for International City Theatre, Dr. Frank N Furter in THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW (Tropicana, Las Vegas and Fonda Theatre, Hollywood) and Pirelli in SWEENEY TODD (Sacramento Music Circus).

For over two years he co-starred as Jinx in the San Diego company of FOREVER PLAID and went on to play that role in the Las Vegas, Cabrillo, Welk Resort, Laguna Playhouse, McCoy-Rigby/La Mirada, Crystal Cruise, Capital Rep., and touring productions, winning Robby and Inland Theatre League Awards.

In addition, he has appeared at some of the nation’s best regional theaters including The Ahmanson, Pioneer Theatre, TUTS, South Coast Repertory, D.C.’s Fords Theatre, Paper Mill Playhouse, St Louis MUNY, Sacramento Music Circus, Charles Playhouse, America Conservatory Theatre, Laguna Playhouse, International City Theatre, Pasadena Playhouse, Capital Repertory, and Casa Mañana.

Kevin is a featured soloist on six compilation CDs on the Rialto/Shadowland label and has appeared in film, television, and commercials. His acclaimed debut solo CD, “Mirror” is available on iTunes.

As a writer and educator, he has created several educational programs that are presented through the prestigious Los Angeles Music Center on Tour series. He also teaches Master Classes for young artists in performance and audition techniques and currently teaches beginning acting at Coachella Valley Rep in Cathedral City, CA.

A graduate of the Boston Conservatory, Kevin is a long-time member of Actors’ Equity Association and SAG -AFTRA.
