For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Musical Theatre Guild include musicaltheatreguild.com and MTG. MTG's website is for the use of patrons to access the purchase of tickets to MTG's theatrical productions, educational information and to donate to MTG as a California non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation.  In addition, this site is for the use of MTG Members to promote services they may render.  By using the MTG website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.

Collection of your Personal Information

In order to better provide you with products and services offered, MTG may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:

  • Mailing Address
  • E-mail Address
  • Phone Number
  • Payment Details

If you purchase MTG's products and services, pay dues, and/or donate, we collect billing and credit card information. This information is used to complete the purchase transaction.

Please keep in mind that if you directly disclose personally identifiable information or personally sensitive data through MTG's public message boards, this information may be collected and used by others.

We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. MTG may share user emails with other theatrical venues to broaden both party's subscriber and patron lists within Southern California to ensure the success of live theatre within our communities.

MTG may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is transferred to the third party. MTG may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide these services to MTG, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Registered user information is retained in our website’s database indefinitely. Data can be exported or removed upon user’s request.

If syncing data to a 3rd party service (e.g Mailchimp via our MailChimp extension), data is retained there until unsubscribed or deleted.
