Dana Meller

Dana Meller is a graduate of Cal State Fullerson (B.A.) and New York University (M.A.). Dana has appeared on Broadway as Eponine in Les Miserables and as Estelle in the national tour of The Full Monty. Among her many regional credits are performances at the Kennedy Center, North Shore Music Theatre, Santa Rosa Theatre, Utah Musical Theatre, The Directors Club (NYC), The New York Theatre Workshop, Theatre Unlimited (LA), Noho Arts Center (LA), El Portal Theater (LA) and North Carolina Theatre, where she appeared as Tzeitel opposite Paul Sorvino in Fiddler On the Roof. Locally, Dana has especially enjoyed creating and developing new works, including productions at the Colony Theatre with the Academy of New Musical Theatre (40 is the New 15; Now and Then a Hero), The Musical Theatre Alliance (I Come for Love), and the NoHo Arts Center (Dorian, The Musical and Insanity). She received rave reviews as the outrageous Chantelle in the world premiere production of Canum Entertainment’s critically acclaimed Pest Control and for her star turn in the lead role of Katya in the world premiere workshop of The Thief at the El Portal Theatre. Recently, she has originated roles in readings of Rosemarie, Brushes, and Road to America, and appeared in MTG’s Promises Promises. Dana can be heard on several recordings, including Our Heart Sings, 40 Is The New 15, I Come For Love, Tim: The Musical, and Man Smarts. Her one-woman cabaret shows have packed houses at NYC’s Triad, L.A.’s Cinegrill, and Masquers Cabaret, along with multiple appearances at The Rockwell and Catalina clubs in Los Angeles. Television appearances include a recurring role on Days of Our Lives, The Lost Tapes, and The Today Show. Favorite roles include: Sally in Cabaret, Winifred in Once Upon a Mattress, Lottie in Mack and Mabel, Countess Charlotte in A Little Night Music, Lina in Singin’ in the Rain, and Maria in Lend Me a Tenor. As a board certified behavior analyst specializing in the treatment of autism, Dana is also co-founder of “Pass the Big ABA Exam”. She currently lives in Los Angeles with Mark and Jack.
