My scene partner carried me over his shoulder in the Act 1 finale of KISS ME, KATE and tripped on the way offstage, leaving us both flying through the air and into a set piece. Luckily, no one was seriously hurt and only some of the audience caught our feet flinging up as we disappeared behind a curtain.
