Bio

Julie Garnyé is an actress, singer, voiceover artist, recording artist, writer, producer, and director. She was most recently seen as an original cast member of the first national tour of the Broadway hit COME FROM AWAY.

On television, Julie most recently appeared as an original cast member of FATWA! The Musical during season nine of "Curb Your Enthusiasm". Julie was also the "In Memoriam" soloist for the 2016 Daytime Emmy Awards telecast and was a part of the LES MISERABLES ensemble for the Academy Awards (The OSCARS) telecast in 2013. Theatre career highlights include Grizabella in the 5th national tour of the musical CATS, Broadway’s HAIR in Concert and CHESS in Concert at The New Amsterdam Theatre, Jenny Steinberg with MTG in the Southern California premiere of IT SHOULDA BEEN YOU, FIRST THINGS LAST at London’s Garrick Theatre and her three appearances at The Hollywood Bowl, including LES MISERABLES, CHICAGO, and MAMMA MIA!

Ms. Garnyé has sung with numerous symphony orchestras, including the San Diego Symphony, The Dallas Pops and The LA Philharmonic and has performed with many musical greats including Josh Groban, Carole King, Stephen Schwartz, Kristin Chenoweth, and jazz legend Dave Brubeck.

She is currently recording her first album. Her first single from the album, “Fields of Gold | Both Sides Now" is available on all streaming platforms.

Ms. Garnye has also co-authored a book, “THE STAGE ACTOR'S HANDBOOK” with fellow MTG Member Michael Kostroff. The book will be published by Rowman & Littlefield in Spring 2022 and is available now for preorder on Amazon.com.
