Bio
Helen started out as ‘Meglin Kiddie’ all the way back in 1937 in Hollywood, with other notables such as Shirley Temple, Jane Withers and other well known moppets!
In 1940, Helen had her own radio show, ‘City Dwellers’, about a refugee child of the Spanish Civil War.
A veteran character actress and singer of the stage, Helen has appeared in numerous local theatre and touring productions. To be brief, she has appeared in ‘Fiddler on the Roof’, ‘Gypsy’, ‘Guys and Doll’s, ‘My Fair Lady’, ‘Funny Girl’, ‘Minnie’s Boys’, The Allergist’s Wife’ and many, many more!
She started her screen career in ‘teen movies’ starring Donald O’Connor in the 1940s, and her TV credits include ‘Frasier’, ‘Will & Grace’, ‘ER’, and ‘The Nanny’.
Helen was the proud recipient of the 2018 Actors’ Equity Foundation Michael McCarty Recognition Award.
