Musical Theatre Guild’s Ticket Policies

How do I attend Musical Theatre Guild shows as a member?

Musical Theatre Guild Full and Associate Members are given one “comp.” You will be given a special code to order your comp ticket via the website. We recommend you reserve your seat in advance for the best selection.

Remember to also wear your badge and mingle with our patrons! They LOVE meeting the talent!

Can Musical Theatre Guild cast members get discounted tickets for people to see them in a show?

Bring everyone you know! Discounted tickets are offered and discussed with the cast for each show. Please check with your Production Coordinator for more information. We would love to have your friends and family see your brilliance! (With a script in hand…of course!)

There is also an Actors’ Equity Association (AEA) discount available at the box office for AEA members. Make sure you remind your union friends to bring their AEA card to show at The Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center Eli and Edythe Broad Stage Box Office.

Can I get comps for agents and casting directors to see me in a show?

Musical Theatre Guild currently does not provide comps for industry professionals. If you are in an Musical Theatre Guild show, please check with your show’s Production Coordinator for the current discounted ticket policy.

How do I redeem my comp and buy tickets at the member prices?

You can now reserve your complimentary ticket and order discounted tickets for your friends and family on our website!

  1. Visit the show page and scroll down to the Buy Tickets section. Next to the question Are you a Cast Member?, click the SIGN IN button and enter your personal Cast Member Code. If you do not know your code, click the Forgot Code link and it will be emailed to you. (If the system can’t find you, email [email protected] and we’ll add your code.)
  2. Once you have entered your code successfully, you will unlock member pricing for tickets in Levels A or B. Select your tickets, complete your patron details, and click Add To Cart.
  3. On the order review page, if you have not yet redeemed your comp for this show, you will see a button to Apply My Pass to Tickets. Click that button and select any one ticket in your order. This will convert that ticket to a comp. Scroll down and complete your purchase.

If you run into any issues, here is a screencast to walk you through the process. You can also email [email protected] with any questions.
