How do I withdraw from Membership or take a leave of absence?
All members are asked to formally withdraw or state an intent for a leave of absence. Members are asked to write a statement to membership that will be emailed out to membership. Please email [email protected] and cc the EC at [email protected] .
If I withdraw or take a leave of absence, how do I rejoin MTG?
A Member on withdrawal can request reinstatement at a future date. Reinstatement will require:
a. Member to submit a written statement outlining member’s previous work with Musical Theatre Guild, reason for withdrawal and reason for wanting to return, to be submitted for review by the EC and the general membership.
b. There will be a one-week feedback period for current Members to give opinions regarding reinstatement of said Member.
c. The Executive Committee will make the determination regarding reinstatement considering Member feedback. Payment for the current quarter of dues, plus any back dues owed at the time of withdrawal (capped at 1 year’s back dues).
What is Musical Theatre Guild’s current COVID-19 Vaccine policy?
Musical Theatre Guild’s current COVID-19 Vaccine Policy:
All cast, crew, and theatre personnel must be vaccinated to participate in Musical Theatre Guild major stage productions. MTG will continue to monitor California State and CDC guidelines. Unvaccinated members who can not audition for shows during this time will have their dues waived.
The policy for meetings, committees, outdoor shows/fundraisers, and gatherings are on a case by case basis for vaccination requirements or proof of negative COVID-19 test results within 72 hours of the COVID-19 test. The vaccination/testing policy will be relayed at the time of the announcement for said gathering.

Harassment due to race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, military or veteran status will not be tolerated in the Musical Theatre Guild workplace. Such conduct is subject to discipline, up to and including termination.
The Musical Theatre Guild Board of Directors will address all harassment incidents & complaints.
