When are Musical Theatre Guild auditions?
Musical Theatre Guild auditions are held 2 times per year for each production in our season. Look out for an email from the EC and/or Production Coordinator announcing upcoming auditions. We encourage EVERY member to audition for EVERY show regardless of their ‘type’. We are committed to a diverse showing of our talented members. Please read our Diversity Statement to understand more about our commitment to showcasing all humans and how uniquely beautiful we all are.
How do I get an audition for a Musical Theatre Guild show?
First, log into your Member account. If there we are actively holding auditions, you can sign up for a time on your Member Dashboard. Need more help? Watch the video tutorial to learn how to sign up. We can’t wait to hear your uptempo!
Who can audition for Musical Theatre Guild productions?
Full and Associate Members can audition for Musical Theatre Guild productions. All Members are given priority for all roles. When a role can not be filled by a Member, auditions will be opened to Member referrals and sometimes the public for the opportunity to be cast as a Guest Artist.
While Full and Associate Members must be a member of Actors Equity Association, Guest Artists can be non-union.
If you have an actor you want to refer for a role that can not be filled by a Musical Theatre Guild Member, please email the EC at [email protected] and the Production Coordinator for the Musical Theatre Guild production currently being cast. We can’t wait to meet your talented friends!

Members can not be more than $30 in arrears in their dues. If you are more than $30 in arrears, please go to your Member account to catch up on your dues. If you need to make special arrangements to catch up on your dues and to sign up for auditions, please reach out to Chuck Bergman at [email protected] for arrangements. We are here to help!
