Theatre roles include David in COMPANY (with Christopher Sieber and Judith Light), Max Jacobs in ON THE 20TH CENTURY (with Carolee Carmello and Bob Gunton), Roger Sherman in 1776 (with Roger Rees and Orson Bean), all for Reprise!; Street Singer in BERNSTEIN’S MASS, Harry in MY FAIR LADY (with John Lithgow and Roger Daltrey) and Salesman in THE MUSIC MAN (with Eric McCormack and Kristen Chenoweth) all at the Hollywood Bowl; Ugly in HONK, Charley in MERRILY WE ROLL ALONG and Radioman Bride in TITANIC. For MTG, Richard has appeared in MY FAVORITE YEAR, FLOYD COLLINS, SATURDAY NIGHT, WHERE’S CHARLEY, A TREE GROWS IN BROOKLYN, RAGS and others. Television appearances include “All About the Andersons”, "Sabrina", "Everybody Loves Raymond", and “The Larry Sanders Show”. Movie-For-Television appearances include the critically acclaimed "Doing Time on Maple Drive" and the critically not-so-acclaimed "Revenge of the Nerds III". Richard has had co-starring roles in several feature films including "The Cooler" (with William H. Macy, Alec Baldwin and Paul Sorvino), the recent remake of Roger Corman’s "Piranha", and Harry Shearer’s "Teddy Bear’s Picnic". Richard has had starring roles in the short-lived television series "Freshman Dorm" and the independent feature film "Green Plaid Shirt". In addition to his work onstage, Richard is a theatre director and producer and is an Associate Artistic Director at West Coast Ensemble Theatre, where he has directed productions of FLOYD COLLINS, WONDER OF THE WORLD, and THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK.
