MTG is delighted to be giving Los Angeles its first look at Ahrens & Flaherty's recent gem about the journey of self-discovery and acceptance.  Based on the Albert Finny film, this musical version premiered at Lincoln Center in 2002.  It tells the heartwarming story of Alfie, a Dublin bus conductor and director of the local community theatre.  Alfie's passengers are also his performers and, through his eyes, come to experience the power that theatre has to transform their lives.  "Rich in the necessary ingredient needed to make musicals sing - people about whom you care" - Associated Press.
